The Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs fund a diverse portfolio of startups and small businesses across technology areas and markets to stimulate technological innovation. These highly competitive programs advance commercialization and research and development opportunities for startups and small businesses.

Arizona State University and its Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute have amassed a collection of prestigious awards and honors for innovation, entrepreneurship education and support, and impact on the local economy as well as across the nation.

AZ CoWork was founded by Hamid and Lawdan Shojaee as a way to support and foster the next generation of fast-growing tech companies in Arizona. They designed the 12,000 square-foot space, which conveniently sits directly below Axosoft and PureChat, to cater specifically towards tech startups through hosting various local startup groups and events, providing mentorship opportunities, and cultivating a community of like-minded founders.

StartupAZ Collective is designed to increase the performance and growth of the region’s highest potential startup companies. It’s where entrepreneurs combine their talent, network, and resources to help each other achieve milestones and create a lasting impact on the community. Each year, we select a cohort of 8-10 founders to join the Collective.
