Freeway is excited to announce a new partnership with PHX FWD as its official Talent Development Community Partner.
If you know PHX FWD, you know it’s where software companies and talent connect. That mission is one Freeway has shared since day one, and this partnership solidifies our joint commitment to making Phoenix one of the nation’s leading software and innovation hubs.
Both Freeway and PHX FWD have long been dedicated to strengthening Phoenix’s startup and technology community. Earlier this year, PHX FWD merged with StartupAZ, creating a stronger, more unified organization to support software company growth, capital access, and most importantly, talent development.
With this combined strength, PHX FWD is rolling out programs like Masterminds and the Fast FWD Accelerator, which already have over 50 companies preparing to participate. The Mastermind and Accelerator programs will help founders scale, secure funding, and position their software companies for long-term success. But for those companies to thrive, they’ll need access to highly skilled talent—and that’s where Freeway comes in.
“This partnership represents a natural transition and a continuation of our commitment to strengthening our community here in Phoenix,” said Daniela Santangelo, Freeway Founder and CEO. “We are in our strongest position ever to build an enhanced talent pipeline that supports both company growth and career opportunity.”
At Freeway, our mission is to make Phoenix the most accessible large-market startup ecosystem in the country. One of the ways we’ve done that is through the Tech Talent Summit, our bi-annual event designed to connect innovation with opportunity.
Over the last three summits, the event has drawn more than 1,000 attendees, featured over 50 exhibiting companies, and amplified more than 300 open roles. Our fourth Tech Talent Summit will be held this November, continuing the momentum of bringing together founders, hiring leaders, and top talent.
By joining forces with PHX FWD, Freeway will expand its impact as a community partner in talent development, helping companies grow, scale, and retain the workforce they need, while ensuring Phoenix continues to be a destination for the best and brightest in tech.
Phoenix is on the rise as a global technology hub. With organizations like PHX FWD leading software community-building efforts and Freeway focused on cultivating talent pipelines, the future looks bright.
